Trainingcamp Regatta Day 1

Zwei Läufe bei schwachem und unkonstantem Ostwind. Mit den Rängen 7 und 14 gelingen uns zwei solide Läufe in einem riesigen Feld von 42 470ern. In der Zwischenrangliste liegen wir auf Rang 7.

Training Palma

Wir sind seit drei Tagen in Palma de Mallorca, nein nicht für den Ballermann sondern um zu segeln!

Von Freitag bis Sonntag findet eine Trainingsregatta mit fast 60 Teilnehmern statt. Viele Teams sind bereits hier um sich auf den ersten europäischen Weltcup des Jahres vorzubereiten. Morgen erwarten wir typische Palma Seabreeze mit etwa 10kn.

On est a Palma de Mallorca pour une session d’entrainement de deux semaines. Nous commencons par une régate d’entrainement qui dure jusqu’ a dimanche. Plus que 60 bateaux participent pour préparé la première Worldcup de l’année en europe. Demain les prévisions s’ annocent plutot light avec 10kn.

Cadiz, first day

Yesterday we had our first training day in Cadiz, Spain.

The weather is great. We have 20 degrees (veeeeerrrryyyy nice!) and 8 to 12 knots of wind.

Our new boat is now baptized on the name of "Fish & Chicks". hope it will drive us to London!

New Boat and Meteo Meeting

We received our new boat! During two days we were preparing the new 470 at Yachtwerft Wirz. Thanks for their help!

Further we had a meteo team-meeting in Dietikon. The Goal was to evaluate the winds and tides at the olympic venue in Weymouth together with meteorologists.
Today we leave Zurich for 10 days of training in Cadiz. We are looking forward to test the new boat and sail in warmer conditions.

Förderpreis Region Zürichsee

Am 28. Januar fand in Horgen das Seglerfest der Region 5 statt. Wir erhielten einen Förderpreis von 1000.- für unsere Olympiakampagne. Herzlichen Dank!
